Who is David Behar?

David is a highly accomplished and driven individual with an impressive background in accounting and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). Originally hailing from the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, David earned his undergraduate and master's degrees in accounting from the prestigious University of Florida in 2014 with honors. As a testament to his exceptional abilities, David is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) within the State of Florida, a certification that requires extensive knowledge and expertise in the field. David started his career at PwC, one of the biggest accounting firms, where he spent three years in the financial services assurance practice. During this time, he gained invaluable experience and honed his skills in auditing and financial reporting. However, David's true passion lies in the world of M&A, and he has since focused his career on this exciting and challenging field. Through various consulting and industry roles, David has been involved in over 120 M&A transactions, working with companies with revenues ranging from $15 million to over $2 billion. His expertise and acumen in this area are truly unparalleled.

In addition to his impressive professional accomplishments, David is also deeply committed to his community and his heritage. As a first-generation American of Turkish descent, with parents born in Cuba and raised in Panama and New York, David has a unique and diverse background. He is a devout member of his synagogue, Temple Moses, an orthodox Turkish/Cuban congregation located in the heart of Miami Beach. But David's dedication to his community doesn't stop there. In April 2021, he founded the Miami Sephardic Club (MSC) out of a need to connect with other young Sephardic professionals in the Miami area. With a mission to establish a sense of community and foster meaningful connections, MSC has quickly become a thriving organization under David's leadership. Despite splitting his time between Miami and New York City, David remains deeply committed to his roots and his community, and his impact is felt far and wide.

Why is David Behar on 'Jewish Matchmaking'?

David is quite a successful and accomplished individual who has made a name for himself in the world of finance. But despite his many professional achievements, David has yet to find the one thing that has eluded him: true love. That's why he decided to take a chance and participate in the new dating show, 'Jewish Matchmaking.' David's decision to go on the show was not a decision he made lightly. As a first-generation American of Turkish descent, David is deeply connected to his heritage and his community. He is an active member of his synagogue, and he founded the Miami Sephardic Club (MSC) in order to create a sense of community for other young Sephardic professionals in the area. For David, finding a partner who shares his values and his connection to his heritage is incredibly important.

But despite his best efforts, David has struggled to find the right person. David's busy schedule and demanding work have made it difficult for him to find the time and energy to devote to dating, and the pandemic has only made things more challenging. When he heard about the opportunity to participate in 'Jewish Matchmaking,' David saw it as a chance to break out of his routine and take a bold step toward finding love. David's participation in 'Jewish Matchmaking' is not just about finding a partner for himself. It's also about representing his community and his heritage on a national platform. By putting himself out there and sharing his story, David hopes to inspire others to embrace their own heritage and seek out meaningful connections.
