Jermaine Marshall, 28-year-old ex-Arizona State basketball guard, found dead in his Nantes residence

Marshall is believed to have passed away from unknown causes at his Nantes residence, as per the statement issued by his French Pro B basketball team Hermine Nantes Basket.

Former Arizona State basketball guard Jermaine Marshall was found dead in his apartment in Nantes, French Pro B basketball team Hermine Nantes Basket announced on Friday.

Marshall, 28, is believed to have passed away from unknown causes at his Nantes residence, where he was staying while playing in the second-tier level men's professional basketball league for the Baskets.

As of now, no further details regarding his mysterious death has been revealed.

Born in Goldsboro, Pennsylvania, Marshall played for Penn State from 2010 to 2013, after which he was transferred to Arizona State in his senior year. In the time leading up to his death, he had been playing for the Hermine Nantes Basket.
