LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It seems like Jenna Ortega doesn't want to dance with her hands to the iconic Lady Gaga song, 'Bloody Mary' anymore as she thinks people have seen the 'Wednesday' dance "so much already." However, Jenna Ortega got talked into doing the viral 'Wednesday' dance to Lady Gaga‘s 'Bloody Mary' on March 8, 2023, for her Saturday Night Live promo. While the new 'Joker' actress' song trend had gone absolutely viral on TikTok in the months since 'Wednesday‘s debut on Netflix, Ortega revealed after the hit series’ premiere that she actually had COVID while filming the original dance sequence to 'Goo Goo Muck' by The Cramps. Regardless, the coming-of-age supernatural comedy horror streaming television series skyrocketed Ortega's career, however, the series also starred Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Naomi J. Ogawa, Christina Ricci, and Moosa Mostafa as regulars while Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman starred as the titular characters' parents.

PDD copied 'Wednesday' down to the frill

In the new 'SNL' promo released on Wednesday, of course, Ortega looks at a script as she speaks to Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy, the 'Please Don’t Destroy Boys' comedy trio. “Honestly, this is really well written, I just don’t feel like I want to do the ‘Wednesday’ dance for promo because we’ve seen so much of that already and I think it’s time to do something new,” Ortega says.

The PDD Boys agree with Ortega until the camera pans out to reveal they’re dressed “down to the frill” in 'Wednesday' Addams-inspired black dresses and braided wigs. After pretending like they don’t know the 'Wednesday' dance at all and had no intention of filming it for the promo, Ortega finally agrees to go along with their poorly masked desire to indeed do the dance.

After the trailer dropped online, fans could only relate and humorously sympathize with the 'Scream VI' actress. A fan said, "She's so tired with the dance 😂," while another wrote, "Jenna Ortega is so done with this dance." A fan shared, "Jenna is soo done and Over with the Wednesday Dance." A fan commented, "she’s so done 😭," while another added, "I know she’s so f***ing sick of this dance."
