Miller James' husband Austin discovered her when she was unconscious and took her to the hospital. Their daughter was brought into this world by last-minute cesarean and remained in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for her first 12 days, but she is well now. The funding page has so far raised $100,700 USD of the $250,000 goal and people have been sending prayers as well for Miller's healing. A donor wrote, "I want you to hug and enjoy your life with your precious baby girl and husband!" while another added, "Wishing you the best recovery!!! My heart goes out to this entire family." One person wrote, "Prayers for her and the little one." "Sending so much love to you and your incredible family. God made you a warrior, keep fighting and know we are cheering you on every step of the way," commented one person. Another wrote, "Keep fighting mama."
