In recent days, it's been hard to browse through TikTok without stumbling across Jackie La Bonita's plight and the notorious 'Astros mean girls' who targeted her in a widely shared video. With a whopping 50 million views, the clip captures Jackie being photographed during a Houston Astros game while two women in the background harshly mock and harass her. As the video continues, the situation only becomes more upsetting for La Bonita, earning her plenty of sympathy and support from viewers around the world.

Litzareli Madrigal, one of the women involved, apologized twice on TikTok and Instagram amid the backlash, which has led some to contact her employer to try and get her fired. Now, La Bonita revealed that she had met up the women involved.

The TikToker released an update on April 29, stating that she met with the two women and that they both apologized to her, which was what she was after in the first place. "That's all I wanted, that's all I waited for. And I forgive them, and I appreciate their apologizing to me in person," La Bonita added in her follow-up video, which has garnered over 8.8 million views. 

"Although my feelings had been hurt that night, there was no need for more pain. Their families do not deserve to be vilified. I do not condone the threats, the bullying, or the harassment of them or anybody else," she added.

What Happened to Jackie La Bonita?

La Bonita was at a Houston Astros baseball game when the aforementioned women began making fun of her for taking selfies. She said in a TikTok video that they were calling her "lame" and sticking their tongues out at her. “Watch my confidence disappear after these random girls make fun of me for taking pics,” La Bonita captioned her Tik Tok video, which has garnered more than 54 million views. She was tearful in the video, resulting in an outpouring of support from her followers.
