'He walked right out as if nothing had happened'

The publication WHAS11 reported that a Louisville Metro Police’s spokesperson officer Beth Ruoff confirmed that O'Bannon turned himself in on May 11, Tuesday. He is currently being held at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. LMPD had earlier revealed that they had received a call about the deadly shooting at the nightclub around 1.30 am. On reaching the venue, they found an injured man and a woman dead who was later identified as 37-year-old Nash by Jefferson County.

Nash's friend Brittany Black spilled the beans to WHAS11, revealing that she was flooded with calls from friends who witnessed the unfortunate incident. According to her, the witnesses alleged that Nash was shot by the same person who also killed her friend Torre Cortez Foree in August 2020. Witnesses also told Black that Nash had confronted the man who apparently killed Foree when she spotted him at the club. Black stated, “I think (Nash) may have reached out, hit him or something physical happened, but he shot her. He shot her in a club in front of hundreds of people and he walked right out as if nothing had happened.”

What happened at the nightclub?

According to reports by TMZ, the Kentucky Derby party at the venue saw Harlow in attendance, but soon things took a wrong turn after an altercation unfolded between a man and a woman. Before anyone could react, gunshots were heard at the venue and soon everyone started fleeing from the scene including Harlow. According to the reports, a woman was found dead and a man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Harlow was scheduled to perform at Kentucky Derby Race the next day but was replaced at the last moment. The ‘Whats Poppin’ hitmaker has not released any official statement on the nightclub shooting.
