Ja Morant: Basketball player again seen flashing firearm in car during friend’s livestream
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE: Basketball player Ja Morant appeared to be flashing a gun in yet another video, which has caused quite a stir among those involved in the sport. The Memphis Grizzlies player had already previously displayed a firearm while doing an Instagram Live at a strip club in March and subsequently received an eight-game suspension. This time it is likely that he will see a harsher penalty after a new clip from the weekend showed Morant holding a gun in a car during a friend’s Instagram Live video.
Morant has already been suspended by the Grizzlies from all team activities for an unspecified period of time.

Ex-NBA star Gilbert Arenas pled for Morant
Gilbert Arenas, who was infamously handed a suspension for a gun incident back in 2010, posted a video less than a day following the Morant incident. He urged the young player to remain out of trouble. “The most important summer of this man’s career is this summer,” Arenas said on his show 'Gil’s Arena', according to New York Post. “He better lock himself in the gym, in the house,” he added.
Morant, who will turn 24 in August, was eliminated from the playoffs in the first round along with his team after getting defeated to finals-bound Lakers in six games.
