How was JJ found?
Both JJ and her sister Tylee were found buried at their father Chad Daybell's home in 2020.
The trial revealed gruesome and tragic details on how both children were killed and subjected to torture.
Dr Garth Warren, a forensic pathologist, testified that the cause of death for JJ was asphyxia caused by a plastic bag being placed over his head and duct tape over his mouth. Tylee's body was discovered severely charred.
It was JJ's grandparents who had insisted police check on the children as Lori would refuse to reveal their whereabouts to them and the case unfolded.
