Vanessa gets rejected for surgery

In the preview of the next episode, we see the doctor reject her request to get rid of her loose skin. Though her doctor congratulated her on her weight loss, he then went on to crush her dreams of getting cosmetic surgery, saying, "Right now is not the right time for surgery. You're probably not quite ready yet."

Vanessa is visibly disappointed and gives the surgeon a look of resignation. Later she commented on the post, "I did not want to hear that," along with a crying face emoji. Though fans were quick to provide words of encouragement and praised her for her hard work and huge transformation.

'Hanging' skin makes Vanessa Cross self-conscious

The TLC star started off by being excited to talk to her doctor about her surgery. She also confessed that all the extra "hanging" skin is making her "extremely self-conscious" as she showed off the looseness on her underarms. Vanessa even went on to slap what she called her "bat wings" and asked if they could hear the noise it made.

As the trailer moves forward and her doctor congratulates her on her successful weight loss, Vanessa shows off her loose skin. She pulled out the excess skin that she had tucked into her trousers and said, "my new friend goes everywhere with me now" before labeling it "embarrassing".
