Is Tucker Carlson launching new media company? Former Fox News host could partner with Elon Musk
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Tucker Carlson, who currently appears on Twitter with his news report, is planning on going big. As per media sources, a former Fox News presenter is trying to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in funds to start his own new media organization. Carlson was kicked out of Fox Corporation by its founder and chairman Rupert Murdoch amid the $787.5M out-of-court settlement. The company had to pay Dominion Voting Systems over the spread of 2020 election lies.
He is also involved in a legal battle with his former employer for allegedly breaking the terms of his $25M annual contract. Many experts also feel that the move is going to hurt Twitter since the micro-blogging platform is trying to bring back the advertisers who left after Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition. Twitter is also bringing some high-profile content creators to post on its site, to bring media personalities to switch to Twitter. Andrew Tate, who is facing charges of rape and human trafficking allegations in Romania, was interviewed by Carlson. The influencer said that he was paid $20,000 by the social media giants.
