'Prison Brides' star Gabriella's sister fears the same might be happening to her. In the recently released episode, Gabrielle opens up about her relationship with a prison inmate to her sister. Now that Gabriella is planning to marry Jamal, her family is concerned about their future.
When asked why was she crying, Gabriella said, "He (fiance Jamal) was saying sweet things; that's why I was crying." In a confessional, she adds, "My sister, Gantera, has concerns, mostly about my safety and not being used or abused." When questioned by her sister about how she feels knowing Jamal is in prison for murder, the reality TV star replied, "He didn't murder someone, okay?" t seems Gabriella will be working hard to make her family believe that Jamal is a good person.

Ahead of revealing the relationship to her family, Gabriella had a phone conversation with her fiance, Jamal. During their talk, Jamal made Gabriella recall a flower that grows in darkness. He connected the flower's story to their relationship, expressing, "That's nothing but a symbol. Good things come from bad situations." Referring to his situation, he added, "This was a terrible situation, but you're the best thing that has ever happened to me, baby." This brought Gabriella to tears, to which she said, "Thanks, I'm crying now, so thanks for that." Jamal laughed and replied, "I wasn't supposed to make you cry. I'm just telling you how I feel."
How did 'Prison Brides' star Gabriella meet Jamal?
Gabriella revealed that she and Jamal fell in love "very fast." Prior to entering the relationship, Jamal informed Gabriella that he had never experienced love before, and it was Gabriella "who made him fall in love." According to Gabriella, "He told me that he love me first." She emphasized not confessing her love to Jamal initially, stating, "I didn't say to him. There is no way in hell I would say that I love him first." Gabriella further claimed that Jamal proposed to her 13 times before she finally accepted. The current status of Gabriella and Jamal's relationship remains undisclosed.
