Woman passenger goes on a foul-mouthed tirade, spits on airline staff because she was denied more wine
The video that was uploaded on Twitter shows the blonde-haired barefoot woman, who claimed to be an international criminal lawyer, verbally abusing the crew.
A 50-year-old Irish woman was arrested after she verbally abused staff on an Air India flight from Mumbai to London because she was denied alcohol. The business class passenger reportedly demanded that she be allowed to speak to the pilot after the cabin crew refused to give her another bottle of wine because she was "very drunk".
The video that was uploaded on Twitter shows the blonde-haired barefoot woman, who claimed to be an international criminal lawyer, verbally abusing the crew and threatening to "p*** on them" in court. She also spits at the crew and could be heard calling one of the female staff members an "Indian f***ing money-grabbing b*****d".
The Daily Mail reported that the incident took place on a flight on November 10. The footage shows the woman abusing a crew member who is reportedly one of the pilots of the flight. The woman can be heard shouting: "I work for all you f***ing people... The f***ing Rohingyas, the f***ing people of all Asia, for you, I'm an international criminal lawyer. Don't get any money for it by the way. But you won't give me a f***ing glass of wine, is that correct?"
Irish lady behaves in such an abusive, racist way with @airindiain crew for being refused extra drinks. Very decent AI crew behaviour. Arrested on landing. Wonder if she should have been controlled onboard with handcuffs. @JitiBhargava @Mohan_Rngnathan pic.twitter.com/kSTDmGOEm5— Tarun Shukla (@shukla_tarun) November 13, 2018
The woman also claimed to be the "leader of the f***ing boycott movement" and she could be seen clapping the air in front of the crewmember's face before added: "If I say 'boycott' - f***ing Air India, done. Do you understand me? You can't give me a wee bottle of wine?"
The male crew member is calm through the entire rant. The woman then turns her attention to another crewmember and asks them if they want to write a report about her. She says: "F*** off! I'm a f***ing international criminal lawyer and a barrister. You will be p***ed on in court!" This is when she calls the air hostess an "Indian f***ing money-grabbing b*****d".
The woman goes back to her seat while shouting that she will "turn you inside f***ing out, you f***ing stupid c***s! Give me a bottle of wine and game over!". She then claims that she would otherwise cause problems for the staff member after they land but the woman looked too intoxicated to remember where the destination of the flight was.

The clip ended with the 50-year-old woman ranting at her fellow business class passengers for not "standing up against injustice". Local journalist Tarun Shukla also shared the second part of the argument, taken in another video, of the woman claiming to be the lawyer "for the Palestinian people". She can be heard saying: "So, you think I'm scared when you threaten me with lawyers? Also, Irish Republican Army. You'll be f***ing shot. All you had to do was to give me a f***ing drink."
The Metropolitan Police in London has since confirmed that the woman was arrested at Heathrow Airport after the flight landed. A spokesperson for the force told the publication: "At approximately 1.30pm on Saturday, 10 November, a 50-year-old woman was arrested after an Air India flight had landed at Heathrow Airport. She was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order, common assault and drunk and disorderly and taken to a west London police station. She was subsequently released under investigation."
