MOSCOW, IDAHO: The arrest of Idaho quadruple murder suspect Bryan Christopher Kohberger has left people wondering numerous things and the most prevalent one is why a PhD student would do that. As per reports, Kohberger was doing his PhD in criminology when Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were killed in their sleep on November 13.
More shockingly, his mentor was reportedly Dr Katherine Ramsland, who is a professor of forensic psychology and criminal justice, and has also authored 60 books and over 1,000 articles related to crime, forensic science, and the supernatural. She is also the writer of ‘Confession of a Serial Killer: The Untold Story of Dennis Rader, the BTK Killer’ for which she personally interviewed and talked to the murderer, responsible for taking the lives of people in Wichita and Park City, Kansas. Currently, the 77-year-old is behind the El Dorado Correctional Facility in Kansas serving 10 consecutive life sentences.

Now, Rader’s daughter Kerri Rawson has shared her thoughts over the chilling connection between Kohberger and her father, who called himself the BTK for "bind, torture and kill". Speaking with NewsNation’s Brian Entin, Rawson said, “My first reaction was my stomach churned and I literally physically got ill,” after the 28-year-old was arrested for the stabbings of the four University of Idaho students.
She continued, “Kohberger could definitely have had communication with my father. Well, obviously we know he studied my father in criminology classes. But we need to find out if there’s a deeper connection, it concerns me,” before adding, “I wanted to figure out how to stop it. It’s hard to be a kid of this guy and live with this. And you know see somebody else do this, wondering if your dad influenced him, did your dad talk to him, like was he studying my father outside of academics.”
The statement made by Rader’s daughter has attracted a lot of attention on social media with a user saying, “What a remarkable woman Kerri Rawson is. I cannot begin to imagine how traumatizing being his daughter is and has been as well as the ripple effect this continues to have on her. I’m so grateful, Brian, that you were the one to interview her ❤️.”

Another user shared, “I saw an interview with BTK from prison and he has A LOT of communication with people and even has a phone either in his cell or brought to his cell for long periods of time. I wish I could remember where I saw this.” The third one wrote, “You're so strong, Kerri. I commend you for this interview & for your honesty. It can do nothing but help. ❤”

“I feel like people deeply fixate on a ‘why’ when it comes to heinous acts. I feel like there’s always many layers and factors to play. It’s not that simple and we can’t blame one thing. I feel bad his daughter has to constantly re-live this 😣,” a tweet read and another tweet stated, “My heart BLEEDS for you @KerriRawson ... @BrianEntin THANK YOU for hearing her & giving her a voice in this moment. RESTING in the comfort/hopes that K. Ramsland is probably MUTE right now because she's the State of Idaho's BEST witness 🙌 It's going to be OK!!”
