MOSCOW, IDAHO: The details from the bombshell affidavit has taken the Internet by storm. One such information was that Bryan Kohberger, in custody for allegedly stabbing four University of Idaho students to death, may have stalked the crime location a dozen times before the attack. It is said that his phone was near the victims’ Moscow, Idaho, home at least a dozen times between June 2022 to the present day. His phone was near the crime scene hours after the murders that morning between 9.12 am and 9.21 am. Now people are wondering whether Kohberger tried to enter the house located on King Road, and if he did, how did he go past the lock?
The house is a student rental and the most recent people at the place were a group of six University of Idaho undergraduates - Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, Bethany Funke, and Dylan Mortensen. The gray six-bedroom and three-bathroom house had two entrances - the main and the one at the back with a sliding door. Internet sleuths are wondering if the rooms had auto locking system or not. And if they did, how Byran Kohbeger had access to it so easily?

'This is sleepy little Idaho' says one Reddit user
One user said, "When did auto locks get installed? I'm seeing reports of no "code locks" on the internal doors per social media. Also looking at what appears to be pictures of the apartment on a rental site and it's just regular door knobs, so not sure if/how auto locks would look different. Also, someone is saying "there's someone here" near the time, and D thought it was Kaylee. Maybe she or Maddie opened their door in response, or someone said it because the DoorDash driver had arrived, headlights and all." Another user wrote, "You have to understand. This is sleepy little Idaho. I genuinely only know a handful of people that ever lock their doors. I would bet if you walked down that road (before the murders) at least half the doors would have been unlocked."
One user said, "I'm wondering how he assumed he would be able to get into the house, period" Another Redditor said, "I've read that there were times that they never locked the lower door to enter the first floor. But isn't it assumed that he came in through the slider (since it sounds like he left through the slider) and there was no signs of forceable entry? I think the police are keeping those details to themselves for now."
