MOSCOW, IDAHO: The first potential suspect in the University of Idaho murder was finally arrested on December 30 from Pennsylvania. The suspect is 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger, and the process to expedite him to Idaho is currently underway. Meanwhile, as investigators are doing their part, netizens are also breaking their heads over new theories on various social media platforms. One such post read on Reddit, “He has many hallmarks of an incel, at least enough to browse their forums if not participate. The worship they would show this killer, I would have thought would get his attention.”

“I have been wondering this exact same thing for weeks. I also recently read that disgusting 4chan post, and it gave me incel vibes, too. Even if that post was fake, this case screams incel to me. I even wrote an entire post about it a couple of weeks ago. To be fair, not all incels are the horrible extremist hate-filled kind. There are some incels that are just lonely people who are socially awkward and possibly depressed. It would not surprise me one bit if he was an incel,” another added.

Idaho murders: Retired NYPD sergeant says Bryan Kohberger is not as 'smart' as people think he is

Internet finds 'unbelievable' hints about Idaho murders on Reddit, claim user is Bryan Kohberger

Someone noted, “Not all are hate-filled, but as a female any man no matter his loneliness, if he finds refuge in a safe space that discusses raping, harming, and subjecting myself and my daughters. I will assume anyone that could surround themselves with that hate would harbor some, and I am not going to stop to check if they were the good ones or not. If I joined a group that hated men and plotted against them, I would expect men to assume I agreed with that group. There are many other forums to get lost on the internet without associating with such negativity. I do believe BK at least stopped by their forums regardless of his beliefs to see what they were saying about the murders.”

"Most incel forums I've seen are misogynistic cesspools, it's gross, and I totally agree. It's my understanding that what we currently know as incel forums is actually an offshoot of the original movement of unattractive people who were just lonely virgins," another added. “Several former FBI profilers have referenced this,” yet another user remarked.

On November 13, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, were discovered fatally stabbed in their rented property in Moscow, Idaho. According to police, autopsies revealed that all four kids were asleep when they were attacked, and some had defensive wounds. However, there were no indications of sexual assault. SWAT forces converged on a small village in eastern Pennsylvania to make the arrest of Bryan Kohberger following a six-week investigation. According to police sources, Kohberger's DNA was found in the Moscow residence. Police said they have still not located the murder weapon.

Moscow PD Chief James Fry earlier said during a press conference, "We believe we’ve got our man,” adding that investigators obtained samples of the suspect's DNA directly from Kohberger after he was arrested in Pennsylvania. "He’s the one that we believe is responsible for all four of the murders,” he remarked.
