'Cringeworthy': Internet gags on 'odd' Halloween photo of pregnant Shanann Watts with husband Chris
FREDERICK, COLORADO: Chris Watts, an oil worker, murdered his pregnant wife Shanann, 34 and two daughters, Bella, four, and Celeste, three, on August 13, 2018. Watts, who had initially reported them missing and had made a public plea for their return, was subsequently arrested as he admitted to killing them. Recently a picture of Watts and Shanann's Halloween costume has resurfaced. In the picture, Watts is wearing an apron with "The Bun maker!!" written on it and Shanann is dressed as an oven with her baby bump exposed. Internet users reacted sharply, calling the costume "weird" and "cringeworthy."
Watts, now 37, strangled his wife to death at their Frederick home early in the morning of August 13 in 2018. At the time, Shannan was 15 weeks pregnant with their child. Later, he strangled his two young daughters, before burying them all at his workplace. A Reddit user posted the picture with the question, "Quite an odd Halloween costume, don't you think?"

To this, a user replied, "Omg that’s them?? I didn’t recognize either at first!! And it is weird. I don’t know why, maybe bc we know who they are and he ended up killing that bun."
