Emmy winning drama 'In Treatment' returns 10 years after its Season 3 finale, to a much different world. Season 4 of the therapy drama is set in modern Los Angeles against the backdrop of the pandemic and several other cultural shifts. Dr Brooke Taylor (Uzo Aduba) is the therapist at the center of the season and she certainly seems to have her work cut out for her.

Dr Taylor tries to grapple with her own demons while helping her patients who include a charming millionaire-turned-white-collar criminal (John Benjamin Hickey), a home health aide for a wealthy family’s adult son (Anthony Ramos) and a distrustful, teenage client (Quintessa Swindell). Nigerian American actor Uzo Aduba became a household name with her performance as Suzanne 'Crazy Eyes' Warren on the Netflix series 'Orange Is The New Black'. Aduba's performance garnered her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2015 and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series in 2014 and 2015. Aduba continued her award-winning run with her performance in 'Mrs America' in which her role as Shirley Chisholm resulted in Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie and the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries. Aduba has also appeared in films such as 'American Pastoral', 'Showing Roots', 'Candy Jar' and 'Miss Virginia'.

Anthony Ramos as Eladio 

Anthony Ramos plays Eladio, the home health aide for a wealthy family's son. He has a complicated relationship between being a friend and a member of their staff. The multi-talented Ramos is an actor, singer and songwriter and is known for the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the Broadway musical 'Hamilton'. Ramos has also starred opposite Liam Neeson in 'Honest Thief' and will soon be seen in Lin Manuel Miranda’s highly anticipated 'In The Heights', which will premiere in the summer of 2021.

John Benjamin Hickey as Colin 

John Benjamin Hickey stars as Colin, a charming millionaire-turned-white collar criminal who is grappling with how his life has changed after his release from prison. The Tony award-winning actor is known for his roles in films such as 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen', 'Flags of Our Fathers' and 'The Taking of Pelham 123'. Hickey was also nominated for a 2013 Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie category for his role as Sean Tolkey in 'The Big C'.

Quintessa Swindell as Laila

Quintessa Swindell is non-binary and uses they/ them pronouns. They are best known for playing Tabitha Foster in the Netflix teen drama 'Trinkets' and for their role as Anna in the HBO television series 'Euphoria'. Swindell plays Dr Brooke's distrustful teenage client on the show.

Creators

Jennifer Schuur and Joshua Allen are co-showrunners on the series. Executive producers include Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg, Hagai Levi, Schuur, Allen and Melissa Bernstein with Joanne Toll and Noa Tishby acting as co-executive producers.
