After a nail-biting four days following Election Day, the world, along with Americans found on Saturday, November 7, who the 46th president of the United States will be. And much like President Donald Trump's reaction to President-elect Joe Biden, many right-wing supporters across the globe were disappointed and protested against the outcome of the 2020 election.

One such person was David Farrar, a political activist, blogger and pollster from New Zealand. He is a frequent commentator in the media on Internet issues and has held many roles within the New Zealand National Party as well as has worked in Parliament for four National Party leaders. He mocked the outcome of the US election by suggesting a list of Republican lawmakers that Biden could appoint in his cabinet.

The tweet might have been a jab at the moderate liberal leader who has vowed time and again to be a president to all Americans and not just people who voted for him. "Dream team for Biden Cabinet: State: Mitt Romney Treasury: Lawrence Summers Defence: Pete Buttigieg Attorney-General: Geoffrey Berman Education: Michelle Rhee Homeland Security: Tammy Duckworth Trade: Paul Ryan DNI: David Petraeus," Farrar's tweet said.

The tweet caught the notice of Democratic Minnesota Rep Ilhan Omar who immediately pulled it up on her social media page to point out the ridiculousness of the New Zealander's statement. "Suggesting Democrats appoint Republicans to the most important cabinet positions, is the same as winning a championship and being asked to give it to the losing team. It’s just insane. Knock it off," she wrote.

Many fans of Omar from New Zealand as well as her own country took to the comments section to agree with the liberal representative and condemn Farrar's words. "Please don't think that this man represents New Zealand. He is a pollster for a party which got 25.6% of the vote in our recent general election," one user said while another wrote, "He's a New Zealand right wing shill that everyone ignores."

A user commented, "Augh, awfully sorry about DPF. He's well known for similar acts of right-wing "punditry" over here, and makes just as much sense to us as he does to you." Another hilariously pointed out, "Paul Ryan shouldn’t be near a government office for the rest of his life."

A user quipped, "I never thought I'd see a congresswoman dunking on a NZ hack pundit but now that I have I want to frame this tweet." A user shared, "Ilhan, New Zealanders love and are inspired by you!! Ignore this weirdo." Another said, "My sentiments exactly. There are no participation trophies"

We had previously reported that Omar called out Trump for acting and behaving like a Somali 'dictator' on Twitter. She had also posted a meme that read, "don't come for me" after she and the other members of the 'squad' won re-election. Omar had taken to Twitter to share, "Trump targeted our state and we took that personally," as Biden won Minnesota.

Around four years ago, Omar's Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District had given Trump only around 19% of the vote. Ever since 1972, Minnesota has not voted for a Republican presidential candidate. According to a report by the Washington Post, Omar had made an effort to win against Trump by increasing a larger voter turnout for Joe Biden.

While speaking to the publication, Omar said, "We don’t know each other, but he’s racist and xenophobic, so he hates everything I stand for." During the final days of the election, Omar tried to drive Trump's margin lower and delivered 300,000 votes for Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris' campaign.
