Viral videos on social media show far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) getting booed at a concert in Minneapolis over the weekend in front of a predominantly Somali crowd, with some in the audience telling her to "go home" and "get the f**k out of here". The live performance, which was hosted by Somali singer Soldaan Seraar, went sideways on Saturday night, July 2, when the divisive congresswoman took the stage and the audience met her with a chorus of boos and angry chants.

Some other performers on stage told the audience, ‘Don’t do this," as they continued to boo Omar. The responses intensified to the point where a man had to beg the audience to calm down. Omar said as the crowd kept booing, “Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, we don’t have all night.” Ilhan Omar hasn't commented on the situation and has only released a video of herself being led onto the stage before the audience began to scream and shout at her.

According to Breitbart, the recent concert appeared to be part of Somali Week in Minnesota’s Somali community, which can draw crowds of tens of thousands of people. However, it's unclear what exactly made the crowd boo. Omar was recently in the news after she claimed that religious freedom in America was "dead" after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of a high school football coach who was told he wasn’t allowed to pray on the field in front of players.

She wrote on Twitter, “The Supreme Court just ruled that public school teachers can pressure students to join in prayer at public school events but can also retaliate against those that don’t join in. Religious freedom is dead in America.” To which Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded, “Every word of this is false.” Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar's embarrassment came after she denounced the recent Supreme Court decision to repeal Roe v Wade.

She said in a press release last month, “I am outraged this right-wing court is turning the clock back on generations of progress and prohibiting individuals to have autonomy over their bodies. Let’s be clear: This decision is a blow to everyone who believes in the 14th amendment and to anyone who believes there are limits to how much the government can control the decisions we make in our private lives. The Senate has a moral responsibility to abolish the filibuster and pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to enshrine reproductive rights into law. I won’t stop fighting to protect women’s freedom to control their bodies, lives, and futures.”
