MOSCOW, IDAHO: While police continue to investigate the University of Idaho murders, they insisted on the attacker(s) targeting at least one of the victims, but they refused to reveal which student of the group was the focus of the attack. The police said that there was also a possibility of all four victims being targeted.
Idaho State Police Communications Directions Aaron Snell, 49, told Daily Mail in an interview that the police were considering the possibility that all four of the victims could have been targets during the stabbing on Sunday, November 13.

"We still believe it was a targeted attack based on the evidence at the scene and how everything developed, what we know. We believe that's accurate," Snell told Daily Mail while admitting that the murderer was still out of their reach.
When asked about who was the real target, Snell reportedly replied, "That's a real delicate question and when we're able to say that or if we're able to say that, we'll definitely do that."
Moscow Police reportedly received "hundreds of pieces of information" suggesting that Kaylee Goncalves had a stalker, theough they are yet to confirm if there is any truth to this claim.
"It's very similar to the whole stalking, right? Potentially if there was a stalker, that would be somebody of extreme interest. You can't lay all your cards out at once. We're trying to find the various potential participants," Snell told Daily Mail.
On November 13, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen were found murdered in their off-campus rental home. The two other roommates, Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke, however, were unharmed in the grisly attack.
Police reportedly found that Goncalves had called 22-year-old Jack DuCoeur, whom she dated for six years, multiple times, hours before she died. Snell reportedly told Daily Mail that the police were investigating the relationships between the four victims and their recent interactions with anyone.
