MOSCOW, IDAHO:The terrible November 13 murders of four University of Idaho students have yet to be solved by Moscow police. Since the horrific tragedy, internet sleuths have been producing weird, unverified theories one after the other. Some of them discovered, only a month after the murders, that the house at 1122 King Road, where the heinous murders occurred, was for rent.
On November 13, Ethan Chapin, 20,Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Madison Mogen, 21, were all sleeping in their beds when they were fatally stabbed. With multiple possibilities ruled out and no arrests yet, the case has become increasingly complex and delicate for the police, especially in light of increased pressure from the victims' families and the community as a whole.

Recently, a TikTok video was shared on Twitter where a user shared a video clip that shows a white Hyundai Elantra spotted near the food truck at night when the four students were butchered ruthlessly. The user who shared the clip on Twitter wrote, "I haven't seen this before. Scroll to like the 30-second mark. This could be the car." In the video, the user wrote, "At this point, I'm shaking," and narrated, "watch this reflection and the window that night at the food truck." He further added, "A car shows up does a circle reverses, and then leaves. Is this the Elantra going?" A user replied, "Interesting [smiling emoji] Could be.." Another user tweeted on the same thread and wrote, "makes ya wonder…."

However, these are speculations made by Internet users, and these revelations do not exhibit any facts or ties with the murder case. The police are investigating the case, as this case is very fragile due to speculations and the victims' families' pressure on the case. Goncalves and Mogen were last seen on the food truck around 1.45 am, a few hours ago, before getting murdered.
Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke, their housemates, were reportedly at the same house when their roommates died. They allegedly discovered the bodies and awoke hours later to dial 911. Mortensen and Funke, according to Idaho police, are not suspects.
Police have requested citizens to come forward if they have any information that will assist in apprehending the criminal(s). Anyone with information regarding the incident, a tip on the victims' whereabouts, or a suspicious person in the neighborhood is asked to contact tipline@ci.moscow.id.us or call 208-883-7180.
