‘Hunters’ star Logan Lerman was over the moon on sharing screen with Al Pacino: 'It feels like I'm bragging'
Logan Lerman has grown leaps and bounds since his 'Percy Jackson' days. Playing the lead role of Jonah Heidelbaum in Amazon Prime’s ‘Hunters’, Lerman shows us how much he has evolved as an actor and as an individual. He has proven his mettle all throughout the series. But that’s not all that has made the actor excited. Lerman was over the moon when he shared screen space with the legendary Al Pacino, his personal idol. He even felt that talking about working with the icon would sound like bragging to his friends and acquaintances.
In a press release shared by Amazon Prime, Lerman excitedly shares his experience of working with Pacino and how it was to learn from one of the industry’s finest.
“It's great working with Al Pacino. I feel really lucky to work with him. I was very nervous about it at first, but Al is a really disarming presence and a really humble and generous person. And, it's really just been a joy ride working with him and getting to know him personally. It's just been a great experience to work every day with him. I love Al. And he's, you know, it was one of those weird things that when I was first talking about being a part of this project, like with my family and friends, it was the first time where I felt uncomfortable telling them who else was in the show because it felt like bragging”, he said.
He went on to add, “It felt weird because he's such an icon and he's such an important figure in, you know, cinematic history but also just, you know, my life, and that of everybody. You know, Al Pacino is such a big figure for people that love movies. So, it was surreal to work with him, but then you just like get to know him and he's a great person and a great collaborator. So, I feel really lucky."
‘Hunters’, starred by Al Pacino, Logan Lerman and many others, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
