Video footage shows a smirking woman allegedly attempting to start several fires at a Pennsylvania polling station. The woman was spotted on election day trying to use a cigarette lighter to burn and light many pieces of paper inside the building. According to the Philly Voice, the incident had occurred at around 1 pm at the West Willow Fire Company polling station located in Lancaster County.

The authorities revealed that the currently unidentified woman had made many attempts to start fires. She was initially seen waiting in line to vote and had allegedly tried to use the lighter to light an interior wall. When that attempt was unsuccessful, she moved on and then attempted to light a piece of paper on the wall.

When she entered the polling booth, she managed to light a cardboard divider which separated the adjacent polling booth from her own. Officials revealed, "Police are attempting to identify a white female in her 20's observed lighting, or attempting to light several small fires in the building. Persons in the polling location smelled smoke and noticed the fire and were able to extinguish it immediately." The police were able to confirm that the fire did not cause any damage or injuries. It did not disrupt the voting process either. The authorities are on the lookout for the woman who is believed to be in her early 20's. After starting the fire, she was reportedly seen hurrying out of the station and proceeded to drive away in a grey Ford Focus sedan. It is unclear if the woman was able to cast her vote before fleeing the station.

The news of the incident comes as vote counts take place all across the country. It seems like presidential candidate Joe Biden has secured a victory in many key swing states but nothing can be determined till all the votes have been accounted for.

We had earlier reported that POTUS Donald Trump's closest allies are confident of an overwhelming victory despite several pollsters showing him to be trailing in some key battleground states. His daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, who is also a senior adviser to Trump's re-election campaign, believes the commander-in-chief will decisively beat his Democratic challenger Joe Biden and wouldn't need a protracted ballot count to secure his victory.

While speaking to Fox News, she shared, "People have not been talking to pollsters, and we think it’s going to be a landslide victory and we aren’t even going to need to take this into further days." Trump himself seemed to declare his victory. In a shocking address to the media, the 74-year-old proclaimed: “We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.” Not just that, he also added, “We are going to the Supreme Court... I don't want them adding ballots at 4 am.”

Speaking to about 150 maskless supporters inside the East Room of the White House, Trump described the situation as a “major fraud in our nation” and vowed to take his case to the Supreme Court. Wrongly declaring himself the winner of the election, he demanded the vote counting to stop. “To me, this is a very sad moment and we will win this. And as far as I’m concerned, we already have,” he said.
