'Huda Boss': Huda Kattan advises sister Mona not to rush her relationship with Dom
The beauty guru has always been vocal about her disapproval of her sister Mona rushing in her relationship with Dom. Mona met Dom on Tinder, got engaged to him in just eight months of knowing him and is planning for a wedding already. Keeping in mind Mona’s past relationships that haven’t ended on the best note, Huda feels very protective about her baby sister and feels that she might be sabotaging the relationship by rushing it. In the previous episode, we saw Mona receiving a call from her attorney, and in this episode, we find out that it was concerning an ongoing lawsuit against one of her businesses that needed her immediate attention. Due to which she couldn’t fly to LA with her sister, and Dom who was initially scheduled to tag along with the family decided to back out after Mona tells him that he can only join them for half the trip.
Visibly stressed and tired Mona lands in LA and immediately goes to see her sister for some much-needed comforting and venting session. Huda praises Mona about how well she’s handling such a stressful situation, and then gently asks if she has discussed it with Dom. When Mona says that she only discussed bits of it, Huda immediately spills out a piece of great advice to Mona. She suggests that Mona should talk out loud to get “clarity”. She suggests that she share her thoughts and emotions with her close ones like Dom, so that she get some clarity about the situation, and also advices Mona to take her relationship slowly, and get to know Dom better.
Huda strongly feels that Mona shouldn’t rush into the relationship, and needs to give it time. While she clearly states that she feels Dom is a great guy. Mona appears to take Huda’s advice about sharing thoughts and emotions for clarity but isn’t too keen about taking things slow with Dom. She does reveal that she’s very overwhelmed by everything happening around her but is still happy with the pace at which Dom and she are moving.
