Iconic ‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 1 finale cottage listed on Airbnb for fans - here's how you can book the place
This summer, it isn't just Ilya Rozanov who is heading to Shane Hollander’s cottage. Now you can, too, if you're a fan of 'Heated Rivalry'. The Crave-HBO Max series now gives its viewers a chance to stay at the very same cottage, Airbnb announced earlier this week. Hollander's cottage is located in Muskoka, Canada. The cottage is available to book on March 3 onwards at 9 a.m. PT. The reservations for the lakeside home are priced at $248.10 per night. Fans of the hit show will notice that the numbers are a nod to the hockey numbers of Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Rozanov (Connor Storrie). The cottage served as the main setting for the intense finale, and now fans can experience the cozy home.
On the show front, the immense success of the debut season saw Crave renew 'Heated Rivalry' for a second season. HBO Max further confirmed that it would air the sports drama. Jacob Tierney created the show and will return to direct Season 2. The show follows a pair of professional hockey players who develop a romantic relationship over the years and keep it a secret. The show has received lavish praise as one of the most impressive LGBTQ+ shows on TV. Rounding up the cast are François Arnaud, Robbie G.K., Christina Chang, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Sophie Nélisse, and Dylan Walsh.
Earlier, Tierney was elated when speaking about the rousing reception for the hit series, "It’s a bit overwhelming, and certainly a lot more attention than we anticipated getting for the show," Tierney told Cosmopolitan. "It’s great. I’m thrilled, and I’m quite tired and all the stuff that comes with it, of running on adrenaline for too long. There’s so much good TV out there, so to break through the noise at all is amazing."
At the time of writing, production for the second season of the show is already underway. Based on Rachel Reid's Gamechanger novel series, the new season adapts the author's sixth book of the series titled 'Long Game'.
The plot summary reads, "10 years. That’s how long Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov have been seeing each other. How long have they been keeping their relationship a secret? From friends, from family… from the league. If Shane wants to stay at the top of his game, what he and Ilya share has to remain secret. He loves Ilya, but what if going public ruins everything? Ilya is sick of secrets. Shane has become so skilled at hiding his feelings that sometimes Ilya questions whether they even exist. The closeness, the intimacy, even the risk that would come with being open about their relationship… Ilya wants it all. It’s time for them to decide what’s most important – hockey or love. It’s time to make a call."
There is no official confirmation of Season 2's release date, though some reports suggest a Spring 2027 release is likely. While the wait continues, fans can experience Hollander's cottage. All episodes of 'Heated Rivalry' Season 1 are streaming on HBO Max.
