'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 6 Episode 7 preview: Could Solomon Vick's entire act be a charade to take down Annalise?

As Episode 6 sees Solomon Vick being asked by the Castillos to testify against Annalise, we cannot help but speculate if Vick could be involved with the crime family and that his entire act is nothing but a charade?

Solomon Vick — a name that suddenly appeared this season has managed to stir quite some action and drawn our attention. Apparently, as we know, he is Michaela’s biological father.

After a desperate hunt for weeks, Michaela finally traces her father to Solomon, discovering that he is a powerful, influential corporate celebrity.

Much to her surprise, Michaela discovers that Solomon knew from the beginning about her and that he had been "keeping track" of her life, her education, and so on, albeit with the necessary assistance from Annalise Keating.

After the initial hiccups in communicating properly, Michaela and Solomon find a middle path and they even agree to work together, so much so, that he even wrote her a blank check.

Notwithstanding the dramatic gesture, it raised our eyebrows enough to start questioning Solomon's real intentions. Not that a wealthy man doesn't throw around money unless he has known and predicted the series of events that might follow since he abandoned his child.

Secondly, Annalise has a big contribution to keeping Solomon’s secret from Michaela, which she had managed to keep from her for a long time.

Although it is not quite clear how Annalise and Solomon are exactly connected, we can make a calculated and intelligent assumption that they would have had a relationship at some point.

With the turn in events, it becomes clear that Solomon was once Annalise’s colleague and she had saved him from the repercussions of an affair with his client, the result of which is Michaela.

This secret also helps Annalise make monetary demands from Solomon. But is it possible that the secrets of Solomon Vick might not just be restricted to his illegitimate daughter?

Our suspicions increase when we suddenly find Solomon in court. While Annalise is filing a restraining order against Xavier Castillo (Laurel's brother), Solomon is also subpoenaed by the court where the Castillos want him to testify against Annalise. The equation doesn't seem to quite fit in.

Annalise and Solomon knew each other since their early career days. Solomon might have slept with his client, but why should the Castillos need Solomon Vick to testify?

Is it also possible that Solomon is behind the FBI investigation (knowing he is influential, he can pull a few strings) or Laurel's disappearance? Perhaps, he came back to Annalise's life to bring her down and Michaela is just a pawn in his game.

Now that these angles are coming to light, we have also started to wonder if Solomon Vick is using the help of the Castillos to get his cards straight with Annalise and bury all his secrets with her.

We can only expect that Season 6 Episode 7 unravels a little more information than mere breadcrumbs and starts connecting the past, present, and the future, but as twisted as the narrative of the show is, that might still be farfetched.

Until then, we can only keep making intelligent guesses. 'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 6 Episode 7 will air on ABC on Thursday, November 7, at 9 pm/ 8c.
