How much does it cost to stay in 'Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard'?

Martha's Vineyards have several mansions that mirror the same property shown in Bravo's spinoff show. According to Point B Reality, the lavish house costs somewhere around $28,000 to $65,000 a week to rent. The property shown in the trailer includes multiple bedrooms with a huge swimming pool on the outside of the house. These houses have a pool, private gym, and water views designed by architect Patrick Ahearn. There are a lot of other Patrick Ahearn-designed homes in the Vineyard that also incorporate many of the same elements — from the private pool and gym, soaring ceilings, and luxurious bedrooms. However, the homes located in Katama go for $65,000 while the Oak Bluffs rents at $35,000 per week.

Home prices have been hiked ever since the pandemic

The pandemic brought in a major change in everyone's life. The buying and renting of the house on the Island has become more expensive than what it was before. The commercial and land deals on Island declined by one-third after the pandemic, according to Vineyard Gazette. The value of properties decreased from $1.15B to $788M. In 2021, the average price of single-family houses was $2M. However, this got hiked to $2.1M. On the other hand, the median home price increased to $1.45M from $1.22M. There has been a significant decline in the availability of houses available on the Island. President of LINK Deb Blair calls this sudden rise in the price after the pandemic to be a "fundamental shift in housing stock." She said, "It’s this trend that there is so little land for sale that older homes without historical value will continue to be purchased, torn down, and replaced with $5 million-plus homes."

'Summer House: Martha's Vineyard' will premiere on Sunday, May 7 at 9 pm ET on Bravo
