LONDON, ENGLAND: If you’re a fan of fictional royal romance, then ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story’must definitely be on your watchlist. Netflix’s epic young love story will dazzle you with Queen Charlotte and King George's romance. The show took a drastic turn in the love story of the Queen and the King, leaving its fans with teary eyes by the end. As the series begins with setting the royal couple apart, it unfolds in layers of emotions, care, and longing for love for each other. The finale series is undoubtedly worth rewatching.

Although the favorite character in ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story’ would be the royal couple, the show’s creator did an excellent job in multi-layered storytelling. There is a lot more to obsess over apart from Queen Charlotte and King George. The story of Lady Agatha Danbury had a unique and entirely different approach to it. Struggling to keep herself with a royal title, it is seen that she manages to gain the trust of Princess Augusta and become a loyal friend of Queen Charlotte. Who can forget the secretive yet cute love story of Reynolds and Brimsley? Though loving in hiding, these two were the takeaways of the entire series. Their love for each other was so deep that their loyalty towards their King and Queen and disagreement at many times didn’t ruin anything between them. With the season ending on a happy note, everyone is speculating about what comes next for ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.’

After Queen Charlotte intervenes with the botched methods of Doctor Monro, she decides to take care of her husband, King George, on her own. Albeit, the King stubbornly pushes her away, and the Queen fights back for their for each other. When the King admits his love for her, they are determined to stay together through thick and thin. In many instances, King George’s sickness returned, like when he couldn’t get out of the carriage on the day of his speech. Instead of running away from such bothersome, Queen Charlotte doesn’t leave his side and helps to calm him down. Additionally, Queen Charlotte advises George to throw a ball at Buckingham House by inviting the Parliament to celebrate their son’s birth. George begins to have an episode, but Charlotte holds his hand and assures him that it is only ‘you and me.’ They both dance together, George making a toast for the birth of his son. By seeing the wisdom of Queen Charlotte for the King, Princess Augusta backs down from interfering in their lives. The last glimpse of the young queen and king was Charlotte giving pregnancy news to her husband, strengthening their bond.

How does ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story’ end?

In the finale episode of ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story,’ King George and Queen Charlotte make an official appearance in front of the parliament, securing the position of the king in the eyes of the people. On the day of the speech, Queen Charlotte, as always, supported him by joining him under the bed as he froze in the carriage. The series gives an emotional feeling of true love between Queen Charlotte and King George despite what they went through. The show ends with the present-day Bridgerverse King and Queen sharing their love under the bed, as George is lost and Queen manages to bring him back.
