MONTVILLE, NEW JERSEY: In the most recent episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey', Margaret Josephs was overcome with emotion as she reflected on the death of her ex-husband, Jan Josephs. His sudden death in 2022, at the age of 74 due to a heart attack, left her grappling with profound grief.
During a confessional, Margaret said, "I thought Jan would live forever. He took care of his health ran five miles a day but one morning my son called me, he was coming from the city. He's like get to the hospital right now. Daddy's in the ambulance." The Bravo housewife added, "And I went there and I had to wait outside and tell my son when he got there."
During a conversation with her current husband, Joe Benigno, Margaret said, "I feel like how could a whole year go by already? They said it was a pulmonary embolism which is a blood clot. It just shot up to the heart and just killed him."
Soon after, Benigno told Margaret, "I feel the deepest horror for you because I never want you to feel horror. I can't do anything about it."
Margaret added in a confessional, "It's just very hard to go and I don't want to keep crying about it. I'm always giving Joe. That's not working fixed but this is real life stuff that cannot be fixed. Joe can't fix this. No one can fix this." "I'm crying about my ex-husband. I need time," she concluded.

“When I met my husband Joe we were both married to separate people. He had come into my life because he was a contractor and he came in to do our molding. My marriage was going down the tubes, and we had this unbelievable chemistry, and we fell in love," she revealed.
