IOWA, NASHVILLE: 'American Pickers' Season 25's ratings have drastically fallen and many believe that this may lead to the show's cancellation. But all is not lost it seems for the show's host Mike Wolfe, who already has another side project ready.

Mike recently took to Instagram to disclose details of his new business venture. He uploaded pictures of his Esso station project, in Tennessee, and has been updating his followers about the project ever since its inception.

And, now that he has wrapped it up, Mike reveals that he has yet to start the 1940s Esso Station Courtyard in downtown Columbia. He wrote on Instagram, "This project has been a labor of love. Every step of the way I had a great team sharing my passion."

Mike further explained about the project, "This 1940s Esso station sits right in the middle of @visitcolumbia TN Historic district. This little building has served the community for decades. Now it has a chance to do just that for generations to come."

Mike revealed that he is excited about the new project nearing completion and will share more about the project as things unfold.

Is Mike Wolfe investing in other projects amid 'American Pickers' retirement rumors?

Mike seems to be more involved in different ventures these days. He is restoring houses, attempting to get more visitors for his Antique Archaeology store, and continuing to embrace his love for vintage bikes.

There are also rumors about him planning to retire from the History Channel show. A source told The Sun, "I don’t know how long the show will last."

The source added, "I don’t know how long Mike and Robbie want to do this. I think they would like to retire at some point. It’s been 12 years."

Is Season 25 the end of 'American Pickers'?

As per reports, 'American Pickers' is struggling with its ratings. Fans seem to be unsatisfied with the changes brought in the new season of the show.

As the new season premiered, fans started slamming the pattern of the newly released episodes on social media.

One commented, "Stop mixing the old with the new episodes. New should be new from start to finish."

While one user claimed, "Not what it once was," another slammed the hosts, "Jersey is just so annoying! Can’t watch anymore!"

Despite the ongoing rumors, there is no official confirmation whether the show is ending or not.

'American Pickers' Season 25 continues to release new episodes every Wednesday at 9 pm ET on History Channel.
