LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'House of the Dragon' Season 2 will start streaming on June 16, 2024, on HBO, and fans have been waiting eagerly to witness the grandeur of war and politics resume in their favorite series as House Targaryen goes to war.

'House of the Dragon' is a series that fans worldwide have been deeply invested in after loving 'Game of Thrones' for over a decade. The series also has the most passionate fans who continuously watch interviews and track their favorite stars.

With promotions in full swing, the cast and makers of 'House of the Dragon' have been doing their promotional work but in some recent interviews, a few of the cast members accidentally divulged information about the second season. Fans who have waited for the second season for about two years are unhappy about the leaks and expressed their unhappiness online.

In recent interviews and social media videos, actors like Harvey Colett who plays Prince Jacaerys 'Jace' Velaryon, and Fabien Frankel who plays Criston Cole teased their relationships in Season 2 and fans were not having any of it.

Fans were unhappy about on-screen Jace spoiling a relationship with Baela Targaryen (Bethany Antonia), a Reddit user commented, "Why are the cast so spoilery this season? First Fabien gives details about where Criston is during B&C", referencing another leak about Criston Cole's whereabouts during the Blood and Cheese phase of season 2.

Another Reddit user blamed it on the continuous promotional activities, "There doing interviews all day everyday in these junkets. Being asked the same questions again and again. I can see them slipping, it's the human thing."

Another leak from the first episode suspected Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D' Arcy) being broken with the news her son's death. A Reddit user posted, " Due to her condition, Rhaenyra will not be able to make any decisions, but she does not want war. She will begin to doubt her position as queen. This is exactly what will cause a fight with Daemon: he thinks that if Rhaenyra will not act, they will all be killed".

Another Reddit user commented on Rhaenyra not wanting the war, "Rhaenyra not wanting war is wild, particularly if she's only doubting her position as queen and not fully willing to renounce her claim. There's no possible reality where she remains Queen without war."

The leaks have surely added further to the anticipation about the upcoming season.

Are Alicent Hightower and Criston Cole in love in Season 2?

In a recent interview with BGN, actor Fabien Frankel spoke about the relationship between Alicent Hightower (Criston Cole) and Cole. He said," Criston Cole is in there with Alicent when that happened. I mean, he should have been there standing sentry. Yeah. And he wasn’t.", as per Wiki of Thrones.

Fabien's comments all but confirm a hookup between Alicent and Cole and that is going to have serious ramifications as Rhaenyra Targaryen has also been involved with Criston Cole earlier and that is going to further deepen the rivalry between Alicent and Rhaenyra with Criston Cole being an important factor in their relationship.

Cole is an important member of the Green faction as a loyal advisor to Alicent Hightower but a personal equation between the two could be an additional element in the skilled warrior's fight against Team Black. Alicent on the other hand was married young to King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine) who died late in season 1. Cole could be the first time the character finds love in her life.
