The teaser gives a glimpse into what is expected to be the most gruesome revenge planned by Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) by hiring two assassins who would kill members of the royal family.

As per the book, Blood and Cheese are two assassins who work for Daemon Targaryen and kill Aegon II Targaryen's (Tom Glynn-Carney) son as revenge for his step-son Lucerys Targaryen's (Elliot Grihault) death.

The event is expected to be one of the biggest happenings in Season 2.

Return of Winterfell

Fans of 'Game of Thrones' would remember Winterfell as the home of House Stark in the North. Winterfell makes a comeback in Season 2 with the rise of a new Stark.

Lord Cregan Stark (Tom Taylor) is going to be an important ally of Rhaenyra in the Targaryen Civil War and his introduction will be an important aspect of the show.

Rhaenyra Targaryen's grief

Rhaenyra Targaryen stands by the beach in the teaser. She is initially taken aback by the death of her son Lucerys Targaryen and it takes her a while before she can gather herself and begin fighting for her claim.

The grief is a perfect set up for the events that are going to follow in the season as a reluctant Rhaenyra begins her quest for the throne after being convinced by people around her.

Alicent Hightower wearing white

Alicent Hightower is associated with the color green but the shot of her wearing white could foreshadow her ultimate fate in the series.

As per George R R Martin's 'Fire and Blood', Alicent Hightower suffers great mental health damage from the effects of war and this shot of her in white resigned to her fate could be a precursor of what her character will experience later in the series.

Rebellion in King's Landing

A shot from the teaser shows a possible rebellion in King's Landing as the small folk seem to have flocked the streets against the rulers. King Aegon is a controversial ruler and it would be no surprise that his rule is not very popular with the small folk.

This might offer an opportunity for Rhaenyra Targaryen to seize the moment and stake her claim for the Iron Throne.
