LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'House of the Dragon' Season 2 Episode 2 premiered on HBO on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

The action-adventure series is a beloved fan favorite, with its gripping characters deeply engaging viewers on an emotional level.

In Episode 2 of 'House of the Dragon' Season 2, viewers are introduced to Addam of Hull (Clinton Liberty), following the introduction of his brother Alyn of Hull (Abubaker Salim) in Episode 1.

'House of the Dragon' is adapted from George RR Martin's 'Fire and Blood,' which features a significant character arc for Addam of Hull, who is poised to become increasingly prominent in upcoming episodes.

According to 'Fire and Blood,' Addam of Hull is the illegitimate child of Laenor Velaryon (John Macmillan), although his parentage is called into question due to Laenor's homosexuality.

In his first appearance in 'House of the Dragon,' Addam of Hull does imply to his brother that Lord Corlys Velaryon owes them, fueling rumors about his possible parentage as the son of Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint).

The second episode also hints at Addam of Hull's connection with the dragon Seasmoke. He rides Seasmoke during the Dance of the Dragons at the request of Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) when she seeks additional dragon riders.

He remains loyal to the Black Council and helps Rhaenyra Targaryen in taking King's Landing as one of the dragon riders who circle the walls of the city while Rhaenyra comes to King's Landing.

Addam of Hull gets accused of being a turncoat and his loyalty is questioned by the Black Council after the First Battle of Tumbleton. Lord Corlys Velaryon defends Addam of Hull, resulting in both of them facing consequences for their actions.

Determined to prove his integrity and that of all illegitimate children, Addam of Hull defends King's Landing by bravely confronting the dragons Vermithor, Silverwing, and Tessarion on Seasmoke.

He kept Hugh the Hammer (Kieran Bew) and Daeron Targaryen at bay in the Second Battle of Tumbleton.

He died defending the city in battle, thus restoring his honor. His epitaph, marked with the word 'Loyal,' was inscribed by his brother upon the return of his remains after the Dance of the Dragons.
