Remember the good old days when your parents wanted to have the 'talk' with you or rather some variation of it? No? You might have blocked out some of the painful memories like the rest of us.

Jasmine (China Anne McClaine) finds herself in the same pickle, in the latest episode of 'House of Payne' where she gets grilled for over 10 minutes about whether she is having sex or not, even though she has Ella (Cassi Davis) and Janine (Demetria McKinney) in no uncertain terms that she isn't. Somehow, they don't seem to let go of the topic. Where was this energy when Malik (Doc Shaw) came home and announced that his girlfriend was pregnant? We're wondering the same thing.

The entire episode moves from the kitchen to the living room. In the first half of the episode, Jasmine wheedles the truth out of Ella about Malik and his girlfriend, even though Janine did not want her to know. In the second half, both Ella and Janine are on Jasmine's case to find out whether she is having sex or not.... you know, that normal progression of a conversation. Jasmine insists that she isn't, but somehow the two women refuse to buy it.

At the end of the episode, we get the hint that Jasmine is being bullied about her virginity status and that conversation is left to be had in a few episodes from now, we suppose. Ella finally realizes that Jasmine is hesitant with this conversation and does not wish to talk about it and tells Janine to stop. Well, they could have stopped 10 minutes ago and we could have moved on to the next storyline?

This episode was a tad better than the previous one, which was a rather painfully-dragged out reveal regarding Lisa's pregnancy, with CJ-Janine struggling to come to terms with it. Curtis wasn't present in Episode 4, which is a slight relief to be ahonest, because after his overtly inappropriate comments about Lisa, we wouldn't mind a little break from him. The drama will continue to unfold in the upcoming episodes and it remains to be seen what happens next.

'House Of Payne' airs on Wednesdays at 8pm.
