The dramatized re-creations of these true-life stories call for a narrator familiar with the paranormal to recount the incident comprehensively. And who better to do it, than a Ghostbuster himself?  Acclaimed writer, actor, and filmmaker Dan Aykroyd, best known for his portrayal of Ray Stantz in the classic film franchise, 'Ghostbusters' is assuming the role of the narrator for the series. The 67-year-old is no stranger to the unexplained and knows exactly what is to come.

“As a longtime believer in ghosts, I think the incredible encounters we’re highlighting on ‘Hotel Paranormal’ will open up a lot of minds and hopefully break through some of the skepticism people carry about the paranormal,” said Aykroyd in  Travel Channel press release. “I’m excited to lend my voice to help bring viewers across the United States, these gripping real-life ghost stories, many of which take place in their own backyards.”
