'That's horrendous': Internet SHOCKED as viral POV video shows rollover truck slam onto bike at stoplight

The bike rider was rushed to the hospital, but his condition remains unclear

MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: A motorcycle rider in Malibu captured on video the terrifying moments just before a huge pickup truck slammed into him at a stoplight. According to Los Angeles County police, the horrific footage appears to be from the pov of the biker engaged in a three-vehicle incident on November 14 that claimed the life of a stolen car's driver. The anonymous motorcycle rider can be seen in the video patiently waiting to turn left off the congested Pacific Coast Highway into Kanan Dume Road.

A massive grey pickup truck is clipped by the back of a black SUV as it speeds off Kanan Dune Road in an attempt to cross in between the cars moving along the crowded route. A ladder and other equipment are thrown out of the bed of the rotating truck, sending it flying squarely onto the motorcycle in an instant. The rider was rushed to the hospital, according to The Malibu Times, though his condition remains unclear. It's also unknown how the truck driver is doing.

The driver of the speeding SUV, which was determined to have been stolen about an hour before the crash, reportedly died shortly after the accident. Speaking to ABC 7, a sheriff's official said the unidentified vehicle came down an incline at great speed and struck around half a dozen caution flags in the center median. The SUV reportedly struck the truck, smashed into a 30-foot-high embankment, and overturned, according to the authorities. Witnesses reportedly attempted to free the driver from the wrecked car, but the vehicle exploded and caught fire before they could. The driver was hospitalized via airlift but didn't survive.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing and the identity of the deceased person has not yet been released. Many social media users came out and prayed for the safety of the motorcycle rider. One person wrote, “Omg the motorcyclist! Just brutal! I hope he is okay.” “That poor motorcyclist. I screamed !!  I was not prepared for that.  Just awful for everyone there 😭😭” another added. Someone wrote, “Oh my gosh! That's horrendous! Prayers to the families.” “Wow 😲 guy was just waiting for the light. You just never know... From the time we're born we think we're so invincible. Puts things into perspective,” another remarked.
