'Home Town' Season 4: Erin and Ben help a young couple find a house in a walkable neighborhood in next episode
'Home Town' on HGTV is a makeover show featuring renovation experts Erin and Ben Napier. The couple uses their joint expertise to restore houses in the Southern city of Laurel, Mississippi. The show follows the couple as they renovate centuries-old homes for first-time homebuyers, young couples, and adults that wish to relocate closer to their grandchildren.
Erin is an artist and has a booming career in corporate graphic design. Her husband, Ben is a woodworker with a degree in history. They met at Ole Miss as students and were married in 2008. Ben and Erin both have a penchant for renovating old houses. The couple as newlyweds bought and restored a 1925 Craftsman-style cottage. They are also involved in a local organization that strives for the betterment of their town, Laurel. Ben has served as president of the group, and Erin uses her graphic design skills to create evocative branding and marketing strategies to inspire the city’s rebirth.
Throughout the series, Erin, with her keen sense of style and creative hand sketches, and Ben, with his custom handiwork using locally sourced materials, help create modern and affordable updates to the house they are renovating. They successfully do so while keeping the character of the house intact.
The fourth season of 'Home Town' is on-air currently and the next episode, titled 'Fire and Water', will see Ben and Erin helping a couple who are on a look-out for a house where they can entertain friends in a walkable neighborhood. Ben and Erin give their pick a complete facelift by adding a coastal color scheme, built-in banquet and a back patio that's perfect for entertaining. During the episode, the viewers will also get to witness the sweet camaraderie between Erin and Ben when they stopover at Lee's Tea and Coffee, a hang-out joint that is also hosting an open mic night. Erin will also be seen exhibiting her singing prowess on the episode and her loving husband Ben cheering the loudest when she does so giving the viewers all the feels.
The episode will air on April 13, 2020, at 8:00 pm ET/PT on HGTV.
