A talented cast embarks on a journey of love, ambition, struggle and laughter in the drama comedy, 'Home for Christmas', as a young woman is on a deadline to find a Christmas date.

Plot
Johanne is the only one among her friends without a partner while expectations for her to settle down runs high. Reaching her limit of judgmental comments, she gives herself 24 days to find a partner to bring home for Christmas. This Norwegian Netflix original also called 'Hjem til Jul' has filmed Season 1, with six episodes and is anticipated to merge quirky romance and heartfelt vibes for a great holiday movie.
Cast
This six-episode female-led series stars Ida Elise Broch along with Felix Sandman, Kingsford Sayor and Mads Sjøgård Pettersen who play her love interests. The cast also features Gabrielle Susanne Solheim Leithaug, Dennis Storhøi, Anette Hoff, Ghita Nørby, Hege Schøyen and Bjørn Skagestad.
Ida Elise Broch, a 32-year-old Norwegian actress who has acted in 'The Man Who Loved Yngve' and had a starring role in the film 'Switch' is also known for her role as Birgitte in a Norwegian-American television series called 'Lilyhammer' Felix Sandman who already starred in the first Netflix Swedish original series, 'Quicksand' that aired on Netflix in April, 2019 is also a Swedish singer and songwriter.
Creators
With Per-Olav Sørensen as director, 'Home For Christmas' would be the second time he's working with Netflix. He has also directed 'Quicksand' and Anna Gutto co-directs this holiday drama with him. Trond Kvernstrøm, Christian Steen and Anders Tangen at The Oslo Company produce this series. Screenwriters include Miriam Larsen, Mattis Herman Nyquist, Julie Skaufel, Fredrik Høyer and Per-Olav Sørensen.
