Skinwalker Ranch has baffled many for over a century with reports of unexplained other-worldly occurrences on the site like encounters with strange creatures, UFO sightings and flashing lights across the sky.

This week's episode of 'The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch' showed viewers one of those things -- strange lights across the sky where the viewers were even shown a mysterious beam of light. The premise of the History Channel show was to investigate these happenings through science, but now that we are two episodes in, we wonder if the investigation team is using science to explain the strange events or to confirm their biased beliefs over what is happening on the ranch.

Even Travis Taylor, the astrophysicist who seems to be the most level-headed of the group seems to be playing into the strange events using explanations that may even find roots in the other members' religious beliefs.

Viewers feel the same way with many declaring that they are done with the show. One user tweeted, "Ok, I’ve watched two episodes, this is looking pretty lame. All this “secret” shit, magnets, headaches, batteries go out on the laser....seriously. When is Dr. Grier gonna show up and have a laser party????" Another wrote, "This is make or break week for me on this show. Anymore Jesus talk or manufactured drama and I’m out. Just focus on the investigation and evidence."

A viewer opined, "So disappointed in The Secret of #SkinwalkerRanch. The series had so much potential. It took just 2 episodes for me to lose interest. Those guys are trying WAY too hard. The gimmicky bull just tells me they didn't have anything worth airing. Smh. Back to Netflix."

History Channel was even criticized for the content of the show. One user tweeted, "They realized stupid Americans don’t give a fuck about history, learning, nature and would rather watch shitty reality TV shows about other stupid Americans or anything not related to the things the channels are named after. #Murica."

Another viewer wrote, "What investigation??? It's just a bunch of dudes playing with high-tech toys. Wake me when the security guard disappears... #Skinwalkerranch." Other viewers seem to have issues with the head of security, Bryant "Dragon" Arnold who stands firm on his beliefs and does not seem to want to approach the investigation in a scientific manner.

A viewer tweeted, "I just don't like the security guard they have on #SkinwalkerRanch. He needs to go. Next time he feels the need to say something somebody needs to turn around and just slap the piss out of him every time he opens his mouth," as another agreed, tweeting, "That dooshbag #Dragon is single-handedly destroying the show! #Skinwalkerranch."

However, some viewers still appear to enjoy the show. A fan wrote, "Just finished episode two of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. I knew things would start to escalate but didn’t know it would be this quickly. This is intense." Another tweeted, "Last week was highly disappointing with Fugal using show as a showcase for his wealth: he could take a lesson in humility from Lagina Bros. However, this week was more grass-roots, hands-on investigating, so I'm going to stick around a while. Kudos, guys, ESPECIALLY TRAVIS TAYLOR."
