When police found Henry Ruggs at the scene of a deadly car crash, they reported he showed "signs of impairment" at the scene. During his court hearing on November 3, prosecutors also noted that his blood-alcohol level was at least two times above the legal limit. Add this to the fact he was driving at 156mph, and it seems prosecutors have a slam dunk case of driving under the influence. Now, we may know how the DUI came about.

As we reported, Ruggs was involved in a serious crash on November 2, that injured him and his girlfriend, and killed a 22-year-old woman. The victim, identified as Tina Tintor was burned to death after her car caught fire following the crash. As a result, The Las Vegas Raiders have decided to axe Ruggs and remove all associated merchandise from the stadium. Now unemployed, the former wide receiver is facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Right now, things don't look too good for Ruggs. There's little need for proof since his bloodwork shows clearly he consumed alcohol. That has left many to wonder where exactly he was before the crash, and how much he had to drink. Thanks to some sleuths on the internet, we may have an answer now. It appears Ruggs was enjoying a night out with friends and family, where he had a lot to drink.

'40 hours ago, he was enjoying his off week'

Videos posted to Snapchat show Ruggs at the Topgolf Las Vegas on the night of November 1. Located on Koval Lane, the indoor golf venue does include drinks, as can be seen on their menu. There are several photos and videos of Ruggs playing golf doing the rounds, with one person tweeting, "40 hours ago Henry Ruggs III was enjoying his off week, had an exciting NFL career ahead of him, and was surrounded by friends and family loving life playing some golf. 40 hours later he’s taken a life, injured his girlfriend and himself, and is facing up to 46 years in prison."

Reportedly, Ruggs sent a video of his golf swing to teammate Derek Carr, to "evaluate his golf swing". Along with a night of golf, it appears Ruggs was also enjoying a lot of alcohol. Vital Vegas reported, "Have yet to see this reported, but hear former Raiders player Henry Ruggs had been at Top Golf prior to the crash. Rumor from staffer is Ruggs had 18 shots and other mixed drinks. Investigators visited to review venue surveillance tapes."

Neither the police nor the prosecutors have publicly commented on the tapes from Topgolf, so we will have to wait for an official statement to know whether this rumor is true. Reportedly, Ruggs' blood alcohol content was found to be 0.161%, so it does seem like there is some truth to the rumor. ESPN has also reported it is possible Ruggs spent "several more hours" at a friend's house after visiting Topgolf. It's unclear if he consumed more alcohol there.

Right now, the facts are a little murky. All we know is Ruggs was at Topgolf, consumed some alcohol and then crashed into Tintor's car. The exact details are expected to be made public over the coming days and weeks, as the investigation gathers steam ahead of his next court date on November 10.
