Part 3 of 'Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020' dropped today (April 7) on Netflix. Like the previous seasons, this one has 12 episodes as well and it picks off from the cliffhanger ending of Part 2. Dreamy Italian manga artist Giuseppe Durato fondly known as 'Peppe' had just found out that his housemate, actress and golfer Haruka Okuyama will be moving out of Terrace House soon and he came clean to her about his feelings towards her on a date. He said it with pink roses. Haruka had asked for a little time to think about it and in the final moments of the last season, she ordered him to the playroom where she said she would give him her final answer.

The new season picked right off there and she mentioned that they were together for whole two months in the house and still couldn't manage to form a connection. She also brought attention to the fact that he has been constantly busy and now that she's ready to leave the house and that is the reason why she won't be able to date him.

A heartbroken Peppe turned to his housemate and buddy, footballer Ryo Tawatari and spoke about his problems. He mentioned that he's never been lucky in love and has always found trouble switching from being a friend to a boyfriend. He wistfully admitted that whenever he has liked a girl in the past, he's always ended up being dumped.

Haruka also confided in her fellow housemate Ruka Nishinoiri about her conversation with Peppe. She admitted to not liking him enough to start dating him. She later told him that she's leaving the house in two days but Ruka already knew about this and so did most of the people in the house. Ruka took her by surprise when he revealed that he too is making an exit from the house. He even took cooking lessons so that he could prepare a broccoli pasta dish for the house members as thanks for the time spent together before announcing his exit. Haruka and Ruka then looked back at their journey and fondly reminisced about the day they came in the show together, in Part 1 and now both of them will be leaving together on the same day.

Later that day, Ruka cooked dinner for everyone and everyone was all praises. It was then that Ruka found it difficult to hold back his tears and he quickly got up to make a quick speech. He read from a paper in broken English, mentioning that he is trying very hard to be better and also learning English by talking to a lot of foreigners since he started working at the Marvel bar. He told them that he's become more mature and independent over time and has also realized that he loves cooking and to pursue this further, he was 'graduating' from the Terrace House, meaning he was leaving for good.

Everyone in the room broke into tears and it was a very emotional scene but everyone was happy with Ruka's responsible decision. Haruka also officially announced her exit from Terrace House and Ryo pulled out his own fan merchandise as a parting gift to her while Peppe gifted her a stuffed rabbit.

'Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020' Part 3 is now streaming on Netflix.
