Harry Styles slammed for backing Joe Biden in presidential race, Internet says 'stay out of America elections'
Harry Styles is being slammed by Netizens for coming out in support of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. Taking to his official Twitter account, the British singer and actor replied to a tweet by Biden, which said: "You deserve a president who will get up every single day and work to make your life better. If you elect me, that’s exactly what I’ll do." The singer wrote, "If I could vote in America, I’d vote with kindness."

Many Twitter users, including those who are fans of Harry, replied sharply to the singer's endorsement of Biden. One user, talking about Biden's tax plan, wrote, "Harry, oh Harry. Biden wants to charge middle income people like me $2,000 more per year in taxes, and he supports abortion until birth. I don't think that's very kind," while another said, "The fact that Hollywood and pop culture make it socially unacceptable for the faces of music/acting/etc. to not be liberal is unfairly influencing younger generations to vote blue just because their favorite celebs tell them to." Another user, who also appeared to be a fan of Harry, added, "What was the point of this? Voting is our own decision. I love you, but can you not tell us who to vote for? You're turning into every other Hollywood star. Incredibly disappointing."

More users chimed in with one saying, "Harry Styles, you would vote for someone who says that if black people don’t vote for him, 'they ain’t black'? Someone who gets taken advantage of? Someone who puts on a fake smile and pretends he’s the best thing when he wants to cut funds and benefits for older Americans?" Another user, reminding Harry that he's not an American citizen, tweeted, "Worry about your side of the pond, stay out of America’s Elections, you have no clue who Joe Biden is," followed by the hashtag #Trump2020.

One the music front, Harry recently released the music video for the track 'Golden' from his sophomore studio album 'Fine Line'. The music video was praised immensely online, as reported earlier, and saw the 'Watermelon Sugar' hitmaker running through and driving around empty mountain streets and striking various poses by the ocean.
