Harry Styles dropped the music video for 'Golden', the fifth single from the album 'Fine Line'. The singer first teased a short clip which amassed millions of views just hours before the official video dropped on Monday, October 26. The 'Golden' video features Styles running through and driving around empty mountain streets and striking various poses by the ocean.

Talking about 'Golden', Styles, in an interview with AP Entertainment, said, "It's one of the first songs when I was making the album and it's always been a source of joy for me. And I wanted to make a video that encapsulated that. I'd like to think it will maybe to cheer a couple of people up. Cheered me up."

Within 30 minutes of the its release, the hashtag #Golden became the top trend on Twitter. Fans were quick to react to the music video with one saying, "So what if I’m watching golden for the 37783838393 time today," while another, thanking Styles, wrote, "This person completely changed my life. I never gave so much affection and admiration for a singer, but this is not a typical singer, this person is the sweetest thing there is, the most beautiful thing that can exist. I love baby Harry Styles."

Another fan wrote, "no offense but harry styles is prettier than you," while another called him, "The most beautiful human being in the world." The music video has been directed by Ben and Gabe Turner who have previously worked with Styles on several One Direction music videos. 'Golden' is the fifth single from 'Fine Line' after 'Lights Up', 'Adore You', 'Falling' and 'Watermelon Sugar'. The latter became the singer’s first-ever Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping hit.

Even his releases as a member of One Direction did not earn Styles a #1 hit. 'Watermelon Sugar' is still charting at #26 and #12 on the Spotify US and Global Top 50 charts, respectively. The band’s highest-charting song, 'Best Song Ever', peaked at #2. You can watch the music video below.
