Mother of Harmony Montgomery, a 7-year-old girl who went missing in 2019, has released adorable pictures of her that have helped police trace the timeline around her disappearance. Harmony was living with her father and stepmother and two of their children at their New Hampshire home when she went missing.

Even though Harmony went missing in 2019, her disappearance was not reported until late 2021. The district attorney's office revealed new information this week about when she was last seen. Harmony's mother Crystal Sorey sent photos of her daughter to WMUR, a local news station. Harmony is seen grinning in a stroller in one of the pictures and smiling as she posed for a selfie with her mom in another of the pictures.

Crystal Sorey told police that she had last seen her daughter in a FaceTime call before Easter in 2019. “I showed her her basket. I said, ‘I’m coming in a couple of days. Mommy got you a basket. I held on to the basket for a year and some change, hoping I’d have a chance to give it to her," Sorey said.

Harmony has been living with her father Adam Mongomery after Sorey lost custody of her. Adam had then cut off all contact with Sorey. "Witnesses have reported that during that time, Adam, Kayla (stepmom), and the children were homeless and living out of cars, possibly in the North End of Manchester," the attorney general's office said in a news release. Between December 6 and 10, the couple had only their two common children with them, prosecutors said.

Investigators have narrowed down on the fact that Harmony disappeared sometime between November 28 and December 10, 2019. Sorey called the Manchester Police on November 18, 2021, to report her daughter had gone missing from under Adam's care.

Adam Montgomery was arrested in early January on counts of second-degree assault, interference with custody and endangering the welfare of a child. Police also talked to Adam's brother Michael who purported that Adam was physically abusive to Harmony and had given her a black eye. He also revealed that Adam had allegedly been upset with Harmony after he told her to watch her brother who then started crying. The uncle further stated that Adam had spanked Harmony, forced her to stand in the corner for hours, and even made her scrub the toilet with her toothbrush. Harmony’s stepmom Kayla Montgomery was also arrested in January and charged with a felony count of welfare fraud. Authorities said she continued to claim food stamp benefits for Harmony for more than a year after she was last seen. The couple pleaded not guilty to all their charges.

Sorey told News Nation that she had a gut feeling that Harmony is still alive and she believes in it. "We're operating under the assumption she’s alive and well, and that's how we'll operate until someone convinces me otherwise," Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said this week. He announced a $10,000 reward for information and said texts or calls can be made to the agency's tip line, 603-203-6060, any time of day.
