“They told me in 2009 I was one of seven people in the world to live long enough to receive a heart transplant,” he said.

At the tender age of 12, he received his first donor heart, followed by a second transplant at 24. Despite the initial setbacks of organ rejection, his unwavering determination led to a third successful transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix in August 2022.
