'Grey's Anatomy' Season 16 Episode 2 preview: Amelia might be having Link's baby!

The summary of the second episode titled 'Back in the Saddle' reads: "The Grey Sloan doctors operate on a man who crashed into Maggie's car as Owen, back from paternity leave, struggles with Tom's new position. Outside the hospital, Meredith's recent firing doesn't stop her from diagnosing those around her. Plus, Richard and Alex uneasily start anew. Meanwhile, Jo readies herself to return to work, and Amelia has a new revelation in her relationship with Link."

The new revelation that Amelia comes across definitely has to be about her baby with Link. In the first episode, she shockingly discovers she might be pregnant with help from Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) — when she almost asks her for a threesome!

The second episode could show how Amelia realizes it is Link's baby as she has been dating him for a while even though she did not want to make it official. Moreover, it makes more sense for Amelia to have a baby with Link as the two do get along really well and he is way calmer and more romantic than Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd). Owen is also already busy taking on his father role after he had a baby with Teddy Altman (Kim Raver). The second episode might show how Amelia struggles to break the big news to Link. However, the big question is: Will she be happy after her struggle with pregnancy in the past?

In the promo, Link's shocked expression comes as a double whammy. Amelia and Link's relationship will take the spotlight in the next episode and there's much more to expect, especially with Richard Webber (James Pickens) and Alex Karev's (Justin Chambers) new jobs at a rival hospital. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) might also have a big role to play in the next episode with all the risk surrounding the cancellation of her medical license. The second episode rolls out on ABC on Thursday, October 3.
