Viewers are probably most likely not even over Lady Mae's epic reveal last episode, but here comes another in the penultimate episode of the church drama

While the wait for learning how Darius Nash (Rick Fox) is or if he is still alive keeps gnawing at the insides, another chilling reminder plaguing 'Greenleaf' fans is that of only two episodes being left for the five-year-log church drama to wrap. Of course, we need to know what happened to Darius, but finding that out is also means only one more episode left and it's given fans aren't ready to accept that idea. So let's just focus on the many family reveals awaiting us.

Viewers are probably most likely not even over Lady Mae's (Lynn Whitfield) epic reveal last episode - the way she just dropped the bomb about her affair with Grace Greenleaf's (Merle Dandridge) father and walked inside calmly saying "Dinner's at 7:30," was both chilling and some next-level casual. This week, however, it's more than just Lady Mae dealing with big reveals, or so teases the official synopsis for Season 5, Episode 7: 'The Seventh Day'.

"It's the Greenleafs versus Harmony and Hope, and neither will go down without a fight," OWN spills in the synopsis, adding: "Grace fights to stop the demolition; Lady Mae tries to negotiate for the mansion, but a reveal about the original owner prompts Bishop to a revelation of his own."

Grace's fight has to be her quest to hunt down where Darius is and find out whatever secrets he has been able to dig up. Lady Mae's negotiation is expected to be with either Tara James (Jennifer Sears) or her conniving sister Rochelle James (LeToya Luckett) who recently appeared in a cameo. While the stakes are high, given the way things are going on, it's not hard to deduce how the Greenleafs will be able to retain their house in the long run. So far, each of them has been involved in the case of the mysterious will that's costing them the house but looks like the family patriarch and Bishop (Keith David) finally might have things under control.

This reveal on the Bishop's front has us curious though. His son, Jacob Greenleaf (Lamman Rucker) had confronted him a little too hard about the murder of Tara and Rochelle's father - Darryl. It's possible that's the big reveal the Bishop makes before the show arrives at its grand ending of redemption and salvation for the megachurch family. But if the Bishop did murder Darryl and confesses to it, things don't look great at all for the Greenleafs regarding the mansion. That leads us towards the possibility of the Bishop knowing who killed Darryl and finally revealing the killer after protecting them all this time. The Harmony and Hope angle can never contribute to something positive for the family, so expect tension there too.

'Greenleaf' season 5 airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm only on OWN.
