'Greenleaf' Season 5 Episode 5: Grace losing her virginity in the church has fans chanting 'Team Noah forever'

It's a difficult day in the 'Greenleaf' fandom. Right as our beloved Grace was beginning to bud something beyond platonic with Darius, a past flame burnt its way to her life and now seems to be rekindling the forbidden romance that has plagued them for years. Yes, Noah returning to Grace's life right when she was starting something with Darius is a development not a lot of us took too kindly.
However, after the latest Episode 5 of Season 5, we aren't too sure. Fans are now convinced they are "Team Noah" forever. the reason? Not only does Noah keep finding pieces of the puzzle Grace is trying to solve so desperately, but their very scandalous past involving getting down and dirty in the church has earned some fair nods too.
On tonight's episode 'The Fifth Day', Grace and Noah got a chance to reconnect after the whole turmoil their son AJ has been through. The tragedy of attempted suicide has managed to bring the former couple closer and as they reconnect over their son and their past, outcomes some not so squeaky clean details about a time when Grace wasn't the perfect goody-two-shoes she now is.
Noah and Grace talk about a time when the two of them were young, curious teens and had made out in the church. Their discussion meanders around having sex for the first time, leading us to believe that Grace Greenleaf — the Bishop and First Lady's daughter — had lost her virginity in the church. How scandalous and titillating at the same time! "GiGi a lil freak like that losing her virginity at church. But Team Noah winning," a fan tweeted.
These moments of fond reminiscing has now convinced fans that if there is someone who's the right fit for Grace, it's Noah. Despite their murky past, he somehow always comes around to be of help and comfort. In the latest episode, he comforts Grace to be finally able to get some much-needed sleep and she passes out in his arms. Later, she wakes up to Noah having found a book in their house which viewers are also led to believe might be the missing clue to solving the puzzle of how to keep their house from getting seized.
This has prompted fans on Twitter to share: "Noah And Grace were so sweet on tonight's episode. Team Noah forever: real talk!" Another noted: "Darius can stay in vegas forever. Team Noah. Nothing tops that love scene between Grace and Noah season 1. Period." Another fan reasons their preference of Noah over Darius claiming: "I’m Team Noah! GiGi and pretty Ricky aren’t equally yoked spiritually. If she returned to the pulpit, Darius wouldn’t attend church with her." "Some of y'all can hate on Noah all you want...but he just helped Grace find a major piece to the puzzle," pointed out a fan.
