'Greenleaf' Season 5 Episode 4: Judee failing to seduce Phil has fans laughing about her 'entanglement'

Some people can't take a hint that the person of their romantic dreams doesn't want them. But that doesn't stop them from pushing and pursuing incessantly -- something that Greenleaf's Judee Whitmore (Valerie Jane Parker) is the emblem of. Her latest object of affection, Phil (Sean Blakemore), is only marrying her because her father is his boss and has threatened to not give him the position he has toiled for so hard all this while if he doesn't marry Judee. So Phil, the weak man that he is, decides to give up his feelings for Charity Greenleaf (Deborah Joy Winans) because his priorities seem to be lined up all haywire. And while Judee thinks continuing to berate Charity might get her some peace of mind (or solace, if you will), that Phil keeps dodging all her advances has sent fans into splits.
In the latest Episode 4 of Season 5, Judee fires Charity right after she reported to her job. With her sister Grace, Charity hatches a plan that would dethrone both Phil and Judee from the Bishop and First Lady designations they are aspiring towards, and while Phil does report this to Judee, she seems to be too busy trying to seduce him. Sadly, Phil keeps saying no because he still has feelings for Charity, obviously, making for some much-needed comedy for fans.
"Lawd Judy, you with a man who won't let you sex him, you begging and he still said NO. have some shame please!" tweeted a user on Twitter about this current predicament. Another tweeted a photo of Judee captioned, "If 'idk why he won't like me' had a face..." A third fan also dished on the popular saying, "Phil struggling with Judy because once you go Black you can’t go back."
Fans however lost their minds when it is eventually revealed that Judee is still very much married and still trying to spark up a romance with Phil. She claims she isn't 'legally divorced' like that makes things better, but it's working for fans, which is making them laugh for the Jada Pinkett Smith style 'entanglement' she is about to get into. "Judy still married? Chyle what? And trying to have a whole entanglement with Phil and be First Lady? She got a whole husband!" exclaimed a fan referring to the way Jada recently addressed her affair with August Alsina as an 'entanglement' to her husband Will Smith. Another fan chimed in how all of this is getting too much, sharing: "Wait Judy is an entanglement too lol lawd this too much just get to the point!"
