Less than six months after the release of the third season, 'Greenhouse Academy' will be back with its fourth as the mystery continues in the eponymous elite school.

Adapted from the Israeli television show 'The Greenhouse', 'Greenhouse Academy' is set in an elite boarding school in California and follows the students of the school with the same name as they tackle life-threatening mysteries while staying on top of their courses.

Season one begins with Hayley and Alex Woods joining the Academy in opposing houses, eight months after their astronaut mother is presumed dead following a rocket explosion.
Both teens are coping with the loss their own way, but on joining the Academy, they realize there's more to the mystery of their mother's supposed death and mission.

The Academy is divided into the Ravens, the smart ones and the Eagles, the sporty ones, in a bid to increase healthy competition and much of the first two seasons is about that. However, by the end of season two, students of both houses begin to work together to beat a deadly plot involving manmade earthquakes.

Release date

Season 4 of 'Greenhouse Academy' will be released on Netflix on March 20.

Plot

In the third season of the show, Louis Osmond, the head of the school, wants everything to get back to normal but feels that with the Ravens and the Eagles working together, his purpose of creating two houses to foster community and competition is not getting accomplished.

However, this leads to some unfortunate events which then results in Alex's and Hayley's mother, Ryan take over as the head of the school.

We also learn a little more about Sophie Cardona, the captain of the Ravens in Season 3. This plotline is likely to continue in Season 4 as more secrets threaten to unfold.

Season 3 introduced a new overarching mystery as Jason was helped by outside forces to escape prison. This, of course, involves nefarious forces wanting to get access to the magnetite-rich compound of the school. As always, the season ended with a cliffhanger.
